Artist Bio

Dawn is a Michigan native who dedicated herself to a career as an RN working to enhance the lives of the elderly for 23 years. Early in life she was a natural creative, interested in art, enjoying music and singing, painting and knitting. As an adult, art became an even bigger hobby and outlet for stress reducing during her busy career.  

Dawn is a currently a full-time student at Grand Valley State University in Allendale MI, majoring in Fine Art.  Dawn is an abstract painter currently working with a multimedia approach using traditional methods as well as incorporating collage, fiber and wood into her work.  Dawn continues to find herself through art, sharing a vision through spirituality and nature.
